This course is developed as a preparatory course for participants enrolled to join Africa Media’s underwater videography experiential program in South Africa. Its aim is to ensure that students have a solid grounding in the theoretical techniques of underwater videography and filming in the marine world prior to arrival in South Africa.Â
Specifically, this course aims to provide critical theoretical information and real life knowledge on underwater filmmaking. The course covers concepts from camera kit and maintainance right through to post production editing of collected footage.Â
