The following videos are from participants who enrolled for Wildlife Filmmaking.

'Giants on the Move' - by Jenna Wendlick

Jenna joined our Wildlife Filmmaking course with a quiet, thoughtful presence and a desire to tell a story about elephants.

As she learned to use her new camera, the journey of Giants on the Move gradually took shape.

The resulting short film reflects Jenna’s gentle approach and the grace of the elephants at its heart.

'Skinned' - by Olivia Parker

Skinned is a short film by Olivia Parker exploring the harmful effects of the fashion industry and humanity’s obsession with trends on wildlife. By highlighting specific species and broader environmental consequences, the film challenges viewers to confront the true cost of fashion, often paid by wildlife in blood. Tackling a serious subject through the perspective of a thoughtful, engaging young filmmaker, Skinned raises awareness of our impact on the natural world.

'Lions of Schotia' - by Jolijn van de Kar

Lions of Schotia needs no words as Jolijn beautifully captures a tranquil moment within a pride of lions and turns it into a mesmerising piece of storytelling. Her passion for wildlife and keen eye shine through every frame, proving that powerful wildlife stories don’t need constant action to be captivating.

'Between the Wild and Me' - by Jackson Willhoit

With our participants, we’re always excited to head out and film or photograph wildlife, its environments, and interactions. Jackson surprised us. Beyond exploring the obvious, he brings our journeys to life through music, entertaining us with his creative and playful interpretations. In Between the Wild and Me, Jackson turns the camera behind the scenes, capturing an honest conversation with guide Fontaine Bartleman, one of the people who make these unforgettable encounters possible.

'The Cape Lion' - by Joshua McCain

The Cape Lion explores the history of the iconic Cape lion and Schotia Game Reserve’s efforts to reintroduce its legacy. Once lost to extinction in the wild, the Cape lion represents both what has been lost and what conservation may still recover. Through thoughtful storytelling, Joshua reflects on heritage, responsibility, and the challenges of restoring the past.
