Opening Paragraph

“This is what space looks like,” our guide Arno spreads his arms wide, trying to envelop the vast and unspoiled territory that is the Karoo. Red-coloured rocks dominate this wilderness dotted with fynbos, spread across rugged mountains and hills beneath a cloudless sky, creating the illusion of seemingly infinite space.  We’re in awe of the beauty and tranquility of this semi-desert as we head down dusty endless roads until reaching our destination: Kagga Kamma.
