This course is developed as a preparatory course for participants enrolled to join Africa Media’s wildlife filmmaking experiential program in South Africa. Its aim is to ensure that students have a solid grounding in the theoretical techniques of wildlife filmmaking and working with Africa’s wild animals prior to arrival in South Africa.
Specifically, this course aims to provide critical theoretical information and real life knowledge on the wildlife filmmaking industry. The course covers concepts from the three primary areas of creating a wildlife documentary – pre production, production and post production.
